MamaCareRising is a maternal health program designed to support pregnant individuals, especially those in underserved communities, by providing accessible, comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care. The program is part of a broader effort to reduce maternal mortality and improve outcomes for pregnant individuals and babies.
MamaCareRising is a program provided to you at no cost. And you can opt out at anytime.
One of our team members will reach out to you to obtain important information including signing your informed consent and filling out a detailed needs assessment questionnaire. They will also schedule your first telehealth visit.
You will have multiple video call sessions with our health care providers, conducted by USF Health. Each visit allows the provider to assess your progress, address any concerns, and discuss detailed future plans to support your pregnancy health and postpartum recovery.
We will connect you with a nurse midwife who can help you with any questions or concerns you may have concerning your pregnancy and postpartum care. We offer free doula services as well as health education so that you can be supported during this time. Your midwife may also recommend essential supplies and materials for you including:
