A national leader in women’s health, she focuses on improving patient-centered pregnancy care and outcomes.
She has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed publications and is passionate about advancing care through research, education, and collaboration. Dr. Kaimal completed her medical degree at Harvard Medical School, residency at Brigham and Women’s/Massachusetts General Hospital, and fellowship at UCSF, where she also earned a master’s in clinical research.

Lakieta Glass is a board-certified Nurse Midwife with nearly two decades of experience in women's healthcare, fluent in both English and Spanish. Recently relocated from Chicago to Tampa with her husband for family reasons, she engages in telehealth through the MamaCare Rising program and practices at Genesis at HealthPark, also attending births at Tampa General Hospital. Her academic background includes a BA in Spanish from the University of Illinois-Champaign, a BS in Nursing from Rush University Chicago, and an MS in Nursing in Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, alongside a Doctor of Nursing Practice focused on women’s health care for survivors of sexual abuse, both from Frontier Nursing University, Lakieta enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and karaoke.
